OBRHS celebrated Super Saturday at Jiggs Landing March 14, 2009. The folks who attended participated in geocaching and kayak races, had their face painted, made gyotaku t-shirts, listened to live music, and ate burgers, polish sausage, sticky buns, and snow cones.

The "cracked" safe in this picture was recovered from the Braden River along with the tires and the other items in the truck. A total of 1,870 lbs of trash was recovered.
Join OBRHS October 2 at Jiggs Landing Preserve, at the intersection of Braden River Rd. & Linger Lodge Rd., for the next Braden River cleanup. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the cleanup runs from 9:00 - 12:00. Some kayaks and canoes will be available but please bring your own if you have one.

A Window into the Past - our winning entry in the Eco-Art Contest
OBRHS made new friends and attracted interest in the Society at EFest in Sarasota. A golf package and a freshwater fishing trip were won by persons who visited the booth.
